Pennut suhtautuivat avoimesti vieraaseen ihmiseen vieraassa tilanteessa.Osa kiinnostui ensimmäisenä ihmisestä ja vasta sen jälkeen tarkisti ympäristön. Kaikki kiinnittivät toisella kierroksella ensisijaisesti huomion ihmiseen lähtötilanteesta riippumatta. Pennut ottivat sujuvasti vastaan vieraan ihmisen vaihtelevan toiminnan ja niitä saattoi ohjata testiosiosta toiseen hyvinkin helposti. Metsästyskäyttäytymisen liikemalleista tarttumispurenta oli poikkeuksellisen voimakas ja pennut leikkivätkin vieraan ihmisen kanssa hyvin vauhdikkaasti. Leikkiminen onnistui, vaikka tilanne muuten olisi ollut pennulle vielä vieras. Leikin jälkeisissä käsittelytilanteissa osa pennuista rimpuili aluksi hieman, mutta tätä näytti myöhemmin helpottavan tutuksi tuleva ympäristö. Yleisesti ottaen toiminnallisuus näytti olevan erittäin palkitsevaa näille pennuille. Yksi pennuista suhtautui testin alussa tilanteeseen ja siten myös testaajaan varautuneesti. Tottumista ja oppimista tapahtui kuitenkin yhtä tasaisesti kuin muilla pennulla, joten näiden testikierrosten perusteella käyttäytymiseen vaikutti väliaikainen terveydellinen haittatekijä (vatsavaivat) pysyvän luonteenpiirteen sijaan. Pennut ovat tottuneet moniin arkisiin häiriötekijöihin ja osoittivat hyvää keskittymiskykyä ilman kuormittumista kahdessa testitilanteessa.
